Blackjack and "the Guy"

Good day all,

It looks like William has not been updating this page so it falls to the dragon to take up the slack.  If you are in the Marshalltown area on Sunday July 20th, William and I will be performing at the local art fair.  Telling stories and passing out "Magic" bubbles for the kids to take care of.  We also will be at the Ottumwa Public Library on July 22 and at the LeClaire Community Library July 24th.  Our Faire season opens up with the Celtic Highland Games of the Quad Cities on August 23 and our home faire Des Moines Renaissance Faire at Festival Park the following three weekends.

Blackjack here.  William left the computer on again as he went out to hang posters for the Iowa Renaissance Festival.  I had a nice long hibernation and was glad to see that spring is here at last.  I see that William has been busy getting his summer performing schedule up on the web.  If you happen to be at a faire or Library I am at be sure to say "Hi".  Here is his schedule so far.  Keep the dreams alive and watch out for those nasty English Dragons.

    William here to let everyone know we will be performing our last faire for the season this week end at the Sioux City Renaissance Faire.  I see Blackjack has been on here again.  I think he had fun last weekend in Rock Island.  He saw his old friend Bob the Dragon from the Dragon Scales and Fairy Tales show.  They both went on a search for Chocolate.  I was glad he did not find any until we hit the port of Marshalltown.   It has been WINDY all week.  :-(

    We hope to see many of our friends from up north for out last Huzzah for the season.

Boy is that William hard to trick.  He is out loading the ship so I thought I would take a few minutes to post a note.  It has been a long time since I was here last.  We have been to the Des Moines Ren Faire and are now off to the Four Kingdoms Faire in Rock Island Il.  I can't wait to see the baby dragon again.  We have so much in common, except he is about 6 feet tall and I am only 13 inches. :-( 

Well, I ahve to go as William is coming back into the castle for another load.  Boy, humans sure need lots of stuff for only 2 days fo faire. Go Figure.
